Paul-Arthur Patarin is a Master's student at the École Normale Supérieure de Paris. In 2009, he received a Master's degree in Cognitive Science at the EHESS, where he studied mainly cognitive anthropology, psychology of science and religion, and decision theory. Before that, he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Logic and Philosophy from la Sorbonne. Paul-Arthur is also consultant for arkos and worked in 2008 for hypios as head fundraising coordinator.

 

Formerly focused on epistemological issues that bring neuroscience and economics together, Paul-Arthur is now engaged in fMRI-based investigation of topics in decision neuroscience. His main project, with Hilke Plassmann and Étienne Kœchlin, studies the biological basis of monetary incentives.
